| Together at last? |
An update to the last blog about these two bunnies we are trying to bond.
We took them both for a car ride today, and followed this up by taking them to a friends garden, which was totally neutral territory with no other bunny smells.
There was some aggression to begin with and a bit of circling and fur pulling and at this point Bonnie decided she had had enough and gave Woody a box round the ears whereupon he retreated rapidly.
Whilst they were ignoring each other a helicopter flew overhead which spooked Bonnie to the extent she ran to Woody for protection and she followed this up by washing his ears.
Since then they have chosen to lie next to each other and are quite happy eating (dead leaves) and washing in close proximity to each other.
We hope this trend continues and we will continue to monitor their progress and hopefully end up with a successful bond.
