Christmas Guests

We have lots of guests staying with us at Blackberry Boarding and have had a busy day keeping them all entertained.  Some came along with their own Xmas pressies and others had special treats and cuddles.

Here are some pics we took earlier and we will post some more tomorrow of some of the ones we missed today.

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and just to say your fluffy friends are all well.  We should say also, feathered and shelled as we have 2 parrots and 2 tortoise staying with us as well.

Susie Smudge Henry John & Emmie

We are just starting to see some of our Christmas Guests arrive and here are the first four who have all settled in very well.  Susie & Smudge are indoor bunnies and Henry John and Emmie live outdoors although usually at home in a shed so we have made sure they are quite snuggled up at night with their heat pad and plenty of hay for bedding to keep warm.  All the bunnies are eating well and happy and looking forward to their Christmas treats.

Although Emmie has had an ear infection which has left her a little bit disabled, she copes very well and is certainly first at the food bowl!!

Moo ......

Here is our old friend Moo, who is with us for a good few weeks whilst work is going on at her owners home. She can be a sensitive soul, and would become quite upset at the noise made by the builders, so her owners have boarded her with us (at least until the noisy part is over with).

The reason we say 'old friend' is that we have known Moo since she was at the Windwhistle Warren Rabbit Rescue, where she was always the inquisitive one when we were doing the cleaning. When some friends were looking for a partner for their rabbit Oscar, we had no hesitation in recommending Moo as a likely candidate. Unfortunately Oscar is no longer with us but, as you can see, Moo is doing really well and we love having her to stay.
