Final Stages of Bonding for Fudge and Caramel Fudge

Well after lots of scuffles and feelings of I will never be your friend the two of them have decided that they would like to pass the time of day together.  Still keeping a close eye on them of course as its early days but they do seem quite relaxed now in each others company.

Summer Guests You may know

We have lots of furries friends staying at Blackberry Boarding some new some old but all just lovely.  Here are a selection and if your pet is not here we shall make sure we get him/her on our next blog update.  As you can imagine with the very hot weather we are experiencing our first priority is to try and keep them all cool and safe.  So many of the buns just love lying in the sun but of course they can over heat very easily so we have to make sure they have sun shades and plenty of cool water and high water content veggies.

Here is Jamie who thought a wander round our kitchen looked inviting he is not stupid and realised the tiles were nice and cool.

FUDGE & CARAMEL FUDGE

We are bonding a couple of bunnies at the moment and both are called Fudge, so the lady bun has been called Caramel Fudge to make it easier for us to call them.  Here they are on Day Two and we feel that good progress  has been made.

Toffee & Humbug - New Arrivals

Here are Toffee & Humbug a couple of very cute mini lops and both have settled in very well and have been playing out in their run today.  They are under our main gazebo so are getting plenty of protection from the sun.  They have been making friends with their neighbour Rosy and seem quite happy.

Ben

Ben also loves lying in the sun but we have been keeping an eye on him as he has a very thick coat and we certainly don't want him over heating.  He is a proper sunbathing boy though and cant get enough of it.

Rosy Settles In

Here is Rosy who has now settled in very well, she loves sun bathing but is very hot at the moment so she has her own personal sun shade.  She is a very friendly rabbit and love strokes and attention.  Rosy enjoys chewing her apple sticks and has already eaten through two which her owners brought for her.
